Academy Jigs & Reels

What an incredible night filled with talent and energy at St. Patrick's Academy's fundraising Jigs & Reels event in Dungannon! On the 3rd of December, staff members put on their dancing shoes (most for the first time!) and were backed up by pupils from the school, many of them also being Carroll School dancers. Many months of planning and rehearsals went into this event, choreographed by the Carroll School, also made special since both dance teachers are past pupils of the Academy. It was a lovely honour to be invited back to choreograph this show and raise money while promoting our Irish culture.

To top it all off, our dance mum Maria Martin was crowned the winner alongside Kevin Collins - form teacher to our dancers Courtney and Aoibheann. Have a look at some of the photos below!
